With the PADI Open Water Diver certification you are free to dive on your own, always respecting the maximum safety depth of 18 m.

We start the first day at 8:00 in the morning. Over a cup of coffee or a glass of water, we will review the answers to the questions in the PADI Open Water Diver Manual. Remember that you can do the theoretical part before starting the course and go straight into the water!

In the pool we will complete some exercises, to make you feel comfortable with the equipment. You know that we are not in a hurry, we will take all the time necessary so that you can complete the exercises calmly.

On the second day we will go back to the diving theory, clarify any doubts and take a short official test of 10 questions. At noon we will go to the port to embark from where we will visit 2 beautiful local reefs of Playa del Carmen.

The main objective of this second day is to complete the first two dives of your Open Water Diver course. Underwater, after a brief review of the skills learned in the pool, we will enjoy exploring the wonderful Caribbean underwater world.

Finally, on the third day we will start the morning with the final exam. Next, we will go to the boat to do the last two dives scheduled in the course.

For the whole FeelTheDiving family, the most important thing will always be safety, having fun and expanding our knowledge about the world of diving.

This certification is recognized worldwide. Having completed the objectives of the Open Water Diver course, we will be happy to provide you with your new official certificate.

Remember: Alternatively, you will be able to complete the theoretical part of the course before the date of arrival in Mexico, by completing the exercises at home with PADI.

Are there young children in your group? No problem! Children between 10 and 14 years old can acquire the PADI Junior Open Water diving license. Contact us and we will explain everything to you. Having completed the Junior Open Water Diver course, children aged 10 to 12 will only be able to participate in guided dives under the supervision of a PADI professional. In addition, this certification involves a depth limit of 12 meters.

Important divers! If someone dives with a buddy of another certification level, the lower depth will be respected, and the conditions of their training place will have to be considered. Later you can complete the PADI Deep Diver specialty or participate in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course to advance your training.
